Julie Adams – juliea@dragons.k12.ar.us

I was born in Florida and moved to Arkansas when I was a teenager.  I graduated from Sheridan High School and have a BS in Early Childhood Education.  I am married to Joe Adams and we have three grown daughters that are all in education.  I am grateful to have taught in the Genoa School District for 31 years.  I love teaching because I love children.  I love to be around them and to see them grow and mature.  I enjoy the challenge of trying to reach each and every child in my classroom.

Coleen Burrell –cburrell@dragons.k12.ar.us

Hello! I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Genoa Central Elementary.  I am blessed with the best job in the world. Being a kinder teacher means I am setting the foundation of a child’s school career and that is not something I take lightly. I expect my students to do THEIR personal best. I have found when you set goals for students they will usually go above and beyond to achieve them. I believe my students can do whatever they set their minds to and it is my job to help them achieve it and never forget it.

Kristin Davis – kristin.davis@dragons.k12.ar.us

I have been teaching for three years. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and three amazing daughters. I graduated with a Master Degree of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M-Texarkana. The reason I became a teacher is because I want to help others to learn and gain the skills to become successful.

Hi everyone!  I have been blessed to teach Kindergarten my entire career of 12 years.  I have a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Northeast Louisiana University.  My philosophy of education is simple; to disguise learning with fun. I love my job!  When you hear me call my students "my kids" it's because in our year together they aren't just children on my class list, but they are a part of my heart.

Lori Tibbit – ltibbit@dragons.k12.ar.us

I have taught at Genoa Central for 31 years.  I taught second grade for 4 years and changed to Kindergarten and have been here ever since.  I am married and have one daughter who attends Genoa Central High School.  I have a Bachelors  and Master's degree in Elementary Education.  In my spare time I like to read, bake and sew.  It is so exciting when you see the light bulb come on.  When you have been working on something and that aha moment happens.
